Medicalgorithmics S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw (02-001) at Al. Jerozolimskie 81 (hereinafter “Medicalgorithmics” or “We”) is a Polish company that develops advanced systems for cardiology. The Medicalgorithmics flagship product is PocketECG, a system for heart arrhythmia diagnostics. The App is a support tool for the Q Patch product, which is integrated with PocketECG system. The App enables Patients to report symptoms experienced during the monitoring session completed with Q Patch recorder and Professional User (e.g. a doctor) to initiate or stop the Q Patch monitoring session. All the application’s functionalities use NFC communication. Application do not automatically turn on NFC module and is only used with communication with Q Patch device.
Medicalgorithmics S.A. is the provider of the App. The data controller of your personal data is the entity that uses system for heart arrhythmia diagnostics (e.g. a hospital). We act as a processor for the data controller – the relevant DPA is concluded.
We apply the following data processing principles: lawfulness, fairness and transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity and confidentiality, accountability.
User interface is divided into two modules: one for a Patient and another for a Professional User. The App does not require registration. Most of the information provided by the App relates to technical parameters of the heart arrhythmia diagnostics device, but the following personal data may be included.
Patient module:

The App does not store any personal data, it functions through temporary sessions (scanning the QR code from the main system). After the session ends, the App does not store any information.
All persons whose personal data is processed have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of the processing and transfer of personal data. The right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority and to withdraw consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. The right to object to processing of personal data which is based on legitimate interest of the data controller or to processing of personal data for marketing purposes, including profiling.
The App do not use any tracking tool, cookies etc.
This Privacy Notice may be subject to change. Any revised version of this Notice shall apply from the time of its publication in the App.
