Medicalgorithmics S.A., a provider of advanced cardiac solutions, has published information about the monthly number of requests for payment from insurers filed by Medi-Lynx Cardiac Monitoring, LLC in the U.S. due to services provided using the PocketECG technology. The number of requests submitted in May 2018 was the highest in the last 12 months – it was equal to 9,403 and was 9% higher than in April this year. The accumulated number of requests filed after five months of 2018 is 42,845, which is 15% higher in comparison to the same period last year.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]“I am happy with the high number of requests filed last month. May is usually a good period for our business, which is the main reason for the increase in comparison to April. I see the results as the effect of our numerous activities aimed at expanding our business in the U.S., in particular hiring new sales representatives who gradually win new customers to our system,” said Marek Dziubiński, the President of the Board of Medicalgorithmics S.A.
“The reason why the number of requests filed in May 2018 is lower then the number in May last year is that in the first quarter 2017 we started a complex and complicated process of taking over AMI/Spectocor customers. As a result, in the first months of the last year we experienced a delay in sending requests to insurance companies in relation to the number of completed examinations. In the second quarter, we were making up for the delayed requests and it is one of the main reasons for the large difference in the number of examinations for the first vs. the second quarter of 2017,” Marek Dziubiński added.
