Medicalgorithmics S.A., a provider of state-of-the-art system and algorithm solutions for cardiac diagnostics, has published information about the monthly number of requests for payment from insurers filed by Medi-Lynx Cardiac Monitoring, LLC in the U.S. due to services delivered using the PocketECG technology.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]In September, 7,826 requests were submitted, which is 11% less than in August this year. 24,074 requests were filed in the entire third quarter. “As usual, the number of doctor examinations slightly decreases in the vacation period, so the number of requests submitted by us in the last quarter is a bit smaller. In addition, hurricanes and floods that hit the south-eastern states at the turn of August and September also had an impact on the number of examinations. Obviously, this caused a decrease in the number of doctor visits in these areas,” said Marek Dziubiński, the President of the Board of Medicalgorithmics S.A.
“The analysis of data for the last week of September and the first week of October indicated a trend of significant increase in the number of cardiac function monitoring sessions using our system. I think that it is an effect of both better weather conditions in the U.S. and our sales activity. Since the beginning of the second quarter, we have been making great efforts to promote our system. Above all, we focus on increasing PocketECG brand recognition by strengthening technology and service awareness among electrophysiologists. We conduct regular campaigns in social media and on industry portals; we have launched dedicated websites related to our services. We place interviews and articles in specialist publications to inform about the advantages of long-term continuous ECG signal monitoring and about our PocketECG solution,” Marek Dziubiński adds.
