Information on the number of payment requests from insurers submitted in January 2022

The Management Board of Medicalgorithmics S.A. (“the Company”), with reference to the current report No. 37 of October 12, 2021, in accordance with the adopted new sales data reporting system, hereby informs about the monthly number of applications for payment from insurers submitted by a subsidiary – Medi-Lynx, due for the services provided by MCT, Event Monitoring, Extended Holter using PocketECG technology in the USA.
Taking into account external factors that are incomparable in individual months (e.g. increase in Covid-19 infections, local weather anomalies, or change of billing system, which took place in January 2022, resulting in failure to process several hundred applications that will be settled in February this year), and at the same time that may have a significant impact on the reported number of payment applications due to their shifts in individual months, the Company presents data on the number of applications also comparing them in terms of the last 12 months in relation to the same period of the previous year.
In the last 12 months (i.e. from February 2021 to January 2022), 58,117 payment applications were submitted due to the performed MCT, Event Monitoring, Extended Holter services, which is a 14.0% increase compared to 50,985 applications submitted in the same period of the previous 12 months (i.e. from February 2020 to January 2021).
In January 2022, 3,576 payment applications were submitted due to the performed MCT, Event Monitoring, Extended Holter services, which is a 22.3% decrease compared to 4,604 such applications submitted in January 2021. This number does not include the Holter procedures and payment claims for the Patient-to-Device Service.
At the same time, the Management Board informs that according to the previous sales data reporting system, 4,982 of all applications were submitted in January 2022, which is a 30.3% decrease compared to 7,151 such applications submitted in the comparable period of 2021.
