Information on the number of payment requests from insurers submitted in February 2021

The Management Board of Medicalgorithmics S.A. (the “Issuer”) hereby announces the monthly number of payment requests from insurers filed by the subsidiary – Medi-Lynx Cardiac Monitoring LLC (“Medi-Lynx”) due to services rendered using PocketECG technology in the USA. In February 2021 6199 payment requests were submitted.
The number of applications for payment from insurers per business day in February 2021 was 326 compared to 358 applications per business day in January 2021, which is a 9% decrease on month-to-month basis.
The extreme weather conditions that hit the USA in February affected both patient mobility and the availability of healthcare services, as well as the logistics chains on which Medi-Lynx relies and the company’s internal operating organization. Therefore, in the opinion of the Management Board of the Issuer, the information on payment requests submitted in February does not fully reflect the scale of the business of the Issuer’s Group. Observation of the dynamics of the newly started monitoring sessions, which was recorded after the end of the extreme weather conditions, allows to consider that the decline in the number of payment requests submitted to insurers in the February readings will be compensated by the March data.
